We will discuss perspective match, modeling, lighting, material creation, post production.
First of all you need to set up your units. Then you need to match the perspective of reference image. Another step is to match the proportions of your render with your image. After perspective matching you need to create a free camera from view and lock it. After it's done, create a plane with proportions of your house plan and drag and drop the 2d blueprint to the plane. Then you create box and match the proportions with your reference image in background, using your camera view. Creaet a ground plane on 0 in Z axis and you can start modeling.
Use symmetry modifier for similar parts, shell modifier for windows, extruded spline for basement mesh.
