Making of Old Restaurant - Tip of the Week

A lot of greenery, sunshine and the lazy afternoon made in 3ds Max and V-Ray.

This scene was is included in Archexteriors vol. 22. You can order this collection in Evermotion Shop. This scene was modeled and set with 3DS Max and rendered with V-Ray (check V-Ray price!).

The main part of the image is old building. Beneath the arcades we placed some restaurant tables, umbrellas and chairs. The scene is lit by VraySun.

Building material is a multi material. It consists of three VrayMaterials. Submaterials are used for different elements of the building.

At first, we applied Curves, brightening middle tones.

Except for the sky, the raw image looks more realistic than the post produced one. Another case of over doing it in PS.
