Making of “I find life in my work and work in my life” for Evermotion Challenge 2021 - Work Life Balance.

Hi, My name is Deepak Jain. I am from India. Currently working as a Senior 3D Artist at Brick Visual. I always dedicate most of  my leisure time for creating conceptual story telling non-commissioned images. 2021 Evermotion Challenge Topic “Work Life Balance” was such a perfect topic in these times and I decided to give it a go.

Here is a small summary about my final entry. I find life in my work and work in my life.

I raise my child through my earning. I manage both my work and my family. I do not want to give my child same life as i lead hence i want to work and earn well. I try to balance my work with him and his smile motivates me to do that. I find life in my work and work in my life. Yes I am Prostitute.

I used 3ds Max, Corona Renderer, Adobe Photoshop for this artwork.

Reference images

These are some visual references which I collected at the time of brainstorming for lighting mood and composition of the scene.

Modeling

I started with basic modeling of the street and modeled the walls by poly modeling. Used boolean tool for giving the feel of ruined walls. Modeled lots of props manually and some models are downloaded from internet.

Post-production

I used Photoshop for Post Production, used levels, color correction, photo filter, color lookup and render elements to achieve the desired result.

Hopefully you like this very easy process but I hope some of you find it useful. I would like to thank Team Evermotion for organizing this yearly challenge and giving such a great platform and community to all the 3d artist throughout the world :)
