A new tutorial by winner of TOP 5 V-Ray Workshop Award - Gusde Wastubali.

First of all I would like to thank to V-ray Workshop and Evermotion for the award - Top 5 V-Ray Workshop award. It's really a honor for me and my studio. Hopefully it's just a start for us to be better and better in the future and share more with the industry that I am sure we all love so much.

My name is Gusde Wastubali, I am architect and visualizer. iHome is actually just an idea of a house that has a strong character relying on its huge mass and volume and in the same time it has a soft and open look.

Main materials are concrete, glass, wood and white painted walls. I made a basic plan using Archicad and then made more advanced modeling in 3ds max. For grass I used iGrass iBushes vol. 1 with optimised modifier to reduce poly count while using multiscatter.

Multiscatter settings. I adjusted random rotation, scale and put custom bitmap as the scatter map. I used Evermotion trees in this scene. It took me a while to select perfect trees for my design, there was some trial and error.
