3Ds Max and Corona Render - Calibrated Material Scene

Denis Kozhar 2019-03-12 14:00 tutorial  > Corona  > modeling

Visualization architecture tutorial.

Denis Kozhar shows how to set up render engine and materials to work in a natural color balance. Steps involve setting HDRI as Corona Bitmap, creating a sphere that reflects it perfectly. Then  we need to adjust HDRI in a viewport. We use interactive rendering to see reflection of HDRI in the sphere. We turn down saturation and crank up HDRI RGB Level to achieve 117 values for natural grey in the sphere. The end result will make our materials in the scene consistent and correct. This scene is perfect for authoring materials.
