Archmodels vol. 150 - photorealistic 3d scanned food
We are announcing new collection of truly "as real as it gets" 3d-scanned food!
We are presenting new Evermotion Archmodels vol. 150, the collection of 52 detailed, photo-realistic food products, carefully 3d-scanned and optimized by Evermotion artists.
Each model was scanned with top-end DLSR camera. All pictures were taken in the 24MP resolution in uncompressed RAW format. This way we are sure that we captured the most of texture data. We made over 100 photos of each model and then imported them to software that used this data to create a point cloud and detailed mesh of each object.

3d-scanned food products - as real as it gets!
3d scanning with DLSR gives the level of detail that is almost impossible to achieve in normal 3d modeling. We get the best quality phororealistic textures and 100% accurate mesh. Scanned models can consist of even million polygons, it is way too much for a single object, so we need to optimize them and make them much lighter. Most of the models do not exceed 30-50k polys, only a few the most complex models have more than 100k polys.
Archmodels vol. 150 will perform great in every visualization scene – no matter if it is architectural visualization, commercial, animation or movie.

Amazing collection guys! Looks great. Opposite to the presentation. Its crappy. Why such a great company after so many years of experience still can produce such a horrible video product presentation?
mikcikgodon : no you are wrong, thats why evermotion have sucess for there prices! We are not anymore like 10 or 20 ago when we did 3d jobs for high prices, nowdays 3d vizualizations prices droped so much, do you think ppl selling one model fo 100€ and more stuffs like that is correct? come on... 3d marked changed so much, and will change more.

Well thats just misleading, nobody talking about 100 USD, but yes even this price is more then ok for some models.
But for these, 90 EUR, 52 models, thats like 1.5 dollars per 1 (realistic, high end) model (!) ... you are kidding if you dont think this is serious undercutting. I dont think i will change something by stating this, but this pricing is simply undercutting and terrible :-). Thats a fact.
Well for me is just perfect, and for sure for the others consumers, you should try to find other way to get Money, if you are pissed means you have a business and something is not working well, coming here when evermotion realease one AMAZING collection, only words you have is "You are killing the stock 3D market with your prices :-/. ", change your job, try to get Money from other souce and go cry to your gorvenament, here is not the place to cry, here is the place to comment the work evermotion did and do for so many years with great prices and great models, and not to cry about the price the funny is, normal users fight about high prices and you? well you cry because evermotion do a fair price for us all because you are pissed probabily your business is not working. get a life man!
FormaZ: Im not crying, im just saying the price is horrible :-), yeah the collection looks nice and all but the price is not nice if you work as a graphic designer, thats not just my complain, i heart it from several other people. And yes, price 1,5 dollars for such model is terrible undercutting, its just funny, its like a cheap product bought on some open air market in turkey :-) (but with a good quality which is weird). Im not trying to be rude or anything but thats just a fact :-).
The collection is nice im not saying otherwise, but the price is terribly killing all other artist, i know i wont do anything with it, im just mentioning it :-).
If i would be looking to buy it, i would be "YAY", but since im on the "other side" i say "nay" :-(.
Il est normal que les prix soient abordables, les 3D de ce type sont de plus en plus réalisées par des infographistes des pays de l'est, inde, tunisie . Pouvoir utiliser des accessoire de cette qualité à des prix très résonables, me fait gagner beaucoup de temp dans mon travail

1. How did you 3D Scan the food items ? Photogrammetry or Laser Scanner ?
2. How did you get the capture of reflection and transparent objects ?
