Modeling a pendant

Seth Thompson 2015-09-10 11:59 tutorial  > 3ds MAX  > modeling

Using 3ds Max, Zbrush and Photoshop.

In this video series seth Thompson shows step by step hot to model, sculpt and texture a simple necklace pendant using 3DsMax 2015, Adobe Photoshop, ZBrush 4r7 and VRay 3.0. In opening chapter we will create the low polygon model of the pendant using splines, FFD deformers and the extrude modifier in 3DsMax 2015. Next we will use ZBrush 4r7’s new “Keep Groups” feature in the “ZRemesher” tool to beautifully retopologize our pendant, keeping sharp edges and perfectly distributed topology for sculpting.
