3ds Max vieport - material colors enabled.
rendered room is small, but the scene is actually pretty big. We used vray Plane for infinite floor and placed four additional textured buildings for our background. There are not too pronounced in our renders, but they will be useful if you want to change camera angle.
Top view of the main room.
3ds Max viewport - second camera.
VraySun is our main light source. The settings are above.
VraySky settings.
A tree - another nice element that makes our background believable.
Tree mesh.
It's a flowering tree, so we use flowers as a main material instead of leaves.
Isometric view. Notice VrayLight in the window, settings are above. It's skylight portal of course.
V-Ray Light Lister.
We used two VrayPhysicalCameras in the scene, they are placed against each other. You can see the settings of camera 1 above.
Camera 2 settings.
A blanket. Mesh was created with simulation. Nowadays you can use either native solutions in 3d software or - for the best results - cloth simulation software like, for example, Marvellous Designer.
Blanket material.
Table mesh.
Table material. It's VrayBlend material consisting of main (base) material that covers most of the surface and coat material that appears only on edges.
Table base material.
Table coat material.
VrayDirt controls how much of a coat material is revealed.
VrayColor node makes diffuse texture darker.
Chair mesh.
Chair wireframe.
Chair wood material. Similar to the table material - we used Vraydirt to make it older on the edges.
Chair wood material - base material settings.
Chair fabric material.
Wall mesh.
