Information Clause

In accordance with the art. 13 section 1 and 2 of the European Parliament and Council Regulation 2016/679 of the 27th April, 2016 on the protection of natural persons, with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereafter RODO, I hereby inform that:

1. EVERMOTION S.C., 8 Przędzalniana Str., 15-688 Białystok, Poland is the Administrator of your Personal Data (APD)

2. Data Protection Inspector can be reached through e-mail: iod@evermotion.org

3. Your personal data are to be processed on the basis of art. 6 section 1 letter a, b and f of RODO in order to:
a) prepare, conclude and execute the agreement and for other purposes approved by you,
b) to execute the legitimate interest like marketing of products and the agreement, claim assertion or defence against claims resulting from the law regulations.

4. Entities entitled to the reception of your personal data may be the authorised public bodies; mail providers; providers of the services covered by the agreement; responsible for debt recovery, keeping the archives, document utilization, legal consulting, technical services, IT services and accountancy.

5. Your personal data shall not be transferred to the third country, nor to the international bodies.

6. Your personal data shall be processed within the period of the agreement and upon your additional consent until you withdraw it. APD shall keep the data for the period of any civil law claim execution connected with the agreement.

7. You have the right to demand an access to your personal data, to correct or to delete the data if there is no other basis for the processing or any other purpose of such processing or to limit the processing of the data, to transfer the data to another administrator and to raise objections to the further data processing if there is no legal basis for further processing and to withdraw any previous consent.

8. You provide the personal data voluntarily, however they are necessary to conclude the agreement. The refusal of providing such data may result in the refusal of the agreement conclusion.

9. You have the right to lodge a complaint to the Personal Data Protection Office when in your opinion the data processing violates the regulations of General Data Protection Regulation of the 27 April, 2016 (RODO).

10. Your data will be automatically processed, including the form of profiling.
11. You are obligated to forward above mentioned information to your representative, especially if you appointed this person in the agreement as the contact person or as the representative for the agreement execution.

Rules

The theme of the contest is to create a visual representation showing the "Summer in the City" topic. It can be any idea that comes to your mind. In the contest will be judged both the idea and execution of the project.

1. EVERMOTION CHALLENGE 2014 begins on 16th September and will run till 17th of November, 2014.

2. The subject of this competition is „SUMMER IN THE CITY”.

3. To participate in the competition you must be at least 18 years old.

4. You can enter the Challenge by registering yourself on Evermotion forum and posting new thread on www.evermotion.org > FORUM section > CHALLENGES forum > EVERMOTION CHALLENGE 2014 topic.

5. You must post at least 5 (five) WIP renders (Work In Progress) in your forum thread before 17th of November 2014:

  • concept sketch or reference photo,
  • modeling,
  • texturing,
  • lighting and rendering,
  • post effects and compositing.

6. You must submit one final image (multiple entries are not allowed) before the deadline – the midnight of 17th of November, 2014. Image submitted after this date will not be accepted (to avoid the last-minute rush – submit it earlier if possible).

7. 3D software must be used in the process of making your final work. You can use any 3D software you want. Post processing inside Photoshop or other 2D software is allowed. We require information about software you used.

8. The work you submit must be your own personal work, groups and companies are not allowed.

9. Hosting WIP images on other servers than Evermotion is not allowed.

10. Your work can not be published outside the dedicated forum during the Challenge, you can share link(s) to it if you like. Hosting final entries on other servers than Evermotion is allowed after Winners announcement.

11. Winners will be anounced one week after the deadline.

12. You can use pre-made models. You can also use licensed models and textures made by other artists / companies, but you must give proper credit for every author / company of each asset you use.

13. Final image resolution should not be lower than 1200px (the longest edge).

14. Final image submission should have attached info line on the bottom:final_entry_2014_1.jpg

15. 3 (three) winners will be chosen by the jury. Judges are listed at the end of this document.

16. Employees of sponsors cannot enter this Challenge.

17. Any imaging deemed to contain content that depicts explicit acts that are overtly violent, sexual, cruel or brutal will be disqualified.

18. Winners will be asked by Evermotion to write a "making-of" tutorial within 1 month.

19. To provide the awards, Evermotion will contact the winners by the email address given during the registration on the forum.

20. Any import taxes or duties on prizes must be paid by the prize winner. It is neither practically possible nor ethically reasonable for Evermotion or any of the sponsors to pay duties and taxes on behalf of a winner.

21. Each winner is due to send to the organizer of competition a certificate of tax residence.

22. The data administrator of this competition is Evermotion SC, ul. Przędzalniana 8, 15-688 Bialystok.

23. Personal data shall be processed for the purposes of Contest, for the awarding and obtaining prizes.

24. Personal data shall be made available to other recipients - Contest Sponsors. Every participant has the right to access his/her personal data and correct it. Collection of data is voluntary but necessary to achieve the said objectives.

25. The works submitted during this contest are the works within the meaning of the Act of February 4, 1994. about Copyright and Related Rights (Journal. Laws of 1994 No. 24, item. 83, as amended).

26. Organizer and Competition Sponsors reserve the rights to publish selected works participating in the competition for the purposes of advertising and promotion of Evermotion Challenge, Evermotion SC and Contest Sponsors.

If you do not agree with any of the above rules, please do not enter the Challenge.
