New features for Corona renderer users.

Using Animated Corona proxies in this version should see some benefits. In the previous version, Forest Pack had to load the entire geometry from the proxy for each frame, which made scrubbing the timeline difficult. In this version, we merely sample the entire geometry on the first frame. Use the Corona Daily builds or hold off until version 10 is released because this upgrade also requires adjustments in Corona. The Corona team has also added the following enhancements to Forest Pack and RailClone in their daily builds:

  • RailClone has support for natively displaying non-geometric elements like lights.
  • Native support for the animation styles found in Forest Pack.
  • Fixed a problem with ForestPack that caused rendering materials to restart IR.
  • Fixed Corona wasn't using the mesh that Forest returned in the "GetRenderMesh" call.
  • Improved rendering of Forest Pack items in proxy mode
  • Fixed When the FP render mode is set to Meshes, custom objects are not rendered.
  • After applying a quadremesher to a base object, Fixed ForestPack appears in the viewport but not in the rendered image.
  • A more significant wire color is now assigned to ForestPack instances.
