Marek Denko gives a few insider tips on how to make your pieces look stunning, and where to find those vital sources of inspiration. You’ll find out about the pros and cons of being a full time 3D artist, the ideal career path to follow, and how to build a winning portfolio.

 

Marek Denko was born in 1980 in former Czechoslovakia in the small town in the central part of Slovak republic. He fell in love with computers in 1991 with his first Atari 800XL. In 1995 he discovered the magic of 3dstudio R4. He finished High school in Banska Stiavnica and Faculty of Civil Engineering at Brno University of Technology. In 2007 together with his friend and ex-colleague Peter Sanitra, he established NOEMOTION studio located in Prague.

Marek Denko won many industry awards for his works, including Best of Evermotion awards for Her Eventual Hesistation and Autumn at Relay Outpost 17.

Below you can watch "Making of" video from "Wasteland Fortunes" work - a post-apo Sergej train transformed into some sort of ultimate weapon created in 3dsmax, rendered with V-Ray. Textures and final color touches done in Photoshop.
