I begin by analyzing normal maps (produced in Corona Renderer), which use RGB channels to detail the surface orientation in the scene. In Photoshop, I show how to emphasize shadows by manipulating the green channel and applying the Overlay blend mode, further refining it with the BLEND IF function.
I will also explain how to produce and use Clay Renders to achieve more realistic gradations, removing excessive light tones and balancing the final image. My goal is to achieve a photorealistic balance while maintaining a photographic vision in the editing process.
