Creating Hyper Realistic Fabric Materials

Redshift for Cinema 4d tutorial.

Learn how to create realistic fabric shaders like cotton, silk, velvet in Redshift for Cinema 4d.

Redshift is a GPU-accelerated renderer, built to meet the specific demands of contemporary high-end production rendering. In this video Mograph uses Sheen component for creating realistic fabric materials. The secret of a great fabric shader is simulating microfibers and fuzz with physically realistic sheen. Fabrics tend to reflect light in a specific way. Parallell faces of a mesh are darker and perpendicular faces are lighter, which makes material believable.
