Creating modern living room in Lumion

Reza Hosseini 2021-07-14 15:46 tutorial  > Making of  > modeling

Tips by Reza Hosseini.

The idea of making this project started when i was working on a project for one of my clients. It is my first official design. I started thinking about how to create a modern living room to be simple. started searching for some references for design ideas, furnitures and decorations. for design and materials i used Marbels and woods for panels to balance the materials.

So in the beginning, I have modeled the walls and ceiling and some details. I used a camera in 3ds max scene to only model the parts that were visible to the camera because I wanted to do a quick design. after designing I used some furniture models to fill the scene.

Then I exported the scene and set up the camera in Lumion 11.

After exporting the scene, it was time to give the material. For some objects, I used the textures in my personal library, and for some other, I used the lumion library.

I also used Lumion linear lights to light the shelves.

Setting

After the material, it is time for the final settings. Here are my personal settings.

Setting-DOF

For close-up renders only the depth of field settings were added and the rest of the settings are the same.

In the end, I've adjusted some changes in photoshop like shadows and reflections correction and a little color correction. Here is the result.
