Quixel Mixer - Procedural Texturing

YT 2019-04-11 09:51 tutorial  > Making of  > texturing

Josh Powers goes through the new Mask Stack in Mixer: a powerful system that allows you to create procedural textures in no time.

Quixel has made Mixer, its new material-authoring software, available for free while the product is in beta. This app will be released as a $99 standalone application. Mixer uses a non-destructive layer-based workflow, and includes a brush-based toolset for multi-channel painting and sculpting, outputting standard texture maps at up to 32-bit resolution.
