3ds Max and V-Ray tutorial by Esmail Ghadrdani.

Hi, I am Esmail Ghadrdani, I have 5 years experience in architectural visualization and industrial design and I hope you enjoy reading this making-of article. Wooden cottage is a personal project. For the purpose of this work I used 3ds Max, Rhinoceros, V-Ray and Photoshop.

Modeling
The modeling of this project was carried out in the Rhinoceros and taken out with obj format for Max . Before modeling, you must always pay attention to the unit setup.

The modeling is initially started by drawing a curve. This curve is extruded with the "extrude planar curve" command and the initial volume is created.

The front part of the cottage and window are created with "Extrude planar curve" and "Boolean difference" command.

Finally, the retaining pillars were easily added to the body with the extrude command.

With the aid of filet edge, select all sharp edges and fillet them with value of 1.

After completion of the modeling I exported the file with obj format for the 3dsmax.
