Faroe Islands

Hi guys! Let me present my entry to the Evermotion Challenge 2023. I was inspired by the beauty of the Faroe Islands countryside. A few years ago I saved some reference photos from Faroe and was dreaming of creating something similar in 3D. This challenge became a great opportunity to try. I used one of the proposed Evermotion models for cabin design, changed materials a bit, and added grass to the roof (this is the main feature of Faroe houses). All the geometry including volume light and atmosphere effects has been done directly in 3D, postproduction was used only for color correction. I am adding a link to the screenshots and some additional renders to show the geometry. Software used: 3dsmax, Corona Renderer, Adobe Photoshop. 3D models used: Evermothion, Maxtree, Megascans, 3dsky.org.
