Create precise splines - Polyline script for 3ds Max

Polyline allows you to create splines precisely with measurements and angles.

Now precision spline modeilng is easy and faster.

Create splines using:

  • Ortho mode - it constrains drawn lines to the horizontal or the vertical
  • Polar Mode - it constrain your cursor movement into predefined angles
  • Freehand mode - create points without any constraints
  • Arc mode - create an arc that is a part of the current spline

Use command line or dynamic input fields to enter coordinates and all other possible commands.

Script costs €15. You can download Polyline 1.0 script from Miauu website.

Hi Michal, great tool! This is one of the long awaited plugins for 3dsMax. Very useful. Have to buy it. I am sure Autodesk will buy it from you soon and sell it as one of the top update reasons for a 3dsMax 2016 subscription ;) Cheers Tom

Fantastic!!! Finally accuracy comes to Max. This should DEFINITELY be in the 3dsmax default tool box....well worth the $$. To make it stellar would be to enable 'inferencing'...ie. when creating a new vertex that one could align to other existing vertices across the work plane sat via ortho guide line snaps. As it is one can only approximate alignments. Also...if while creating a angled line that one could move the cursor over an existing angled line to pick up it's settings and lock to such this would be fantastic. Future Features?
