Image to Material – New Version
From a single image, Image to Material creates material channels for you, including base color, roughness, normal, displacement, and metallic. The range of materials supported and the material generation are both enhanced in the new version of Image to Material. Since Image to Material has been trained on various types of materials, it can now produce superior outcomes for materials including fabric, plastic, wood, etc.A new feature in the updated version allows users to choose the material type to precisely produce all channels and automatically modify the range.
AI Upscale
Thanks to the new Upscale layer, Sampler enhances features of your material or image by multiplying by 2 or by 4 the resolution of your asset (material or image). This makes it possible to retain feature coherency between maps while enhancing low-resolution textures' quality and amount of detail.The base color, normal, height, roughness, and metallic channels of your material are all enhanced by the upscaling filter. The Upscale filter should be applied to data (material and picture) at their original resolution without making any previous resolution changes in order to maximize the quality of the results.
Layer Resolution
You have complete control over each layer's resolution using the new layer resolution system. A layer uses the resolution of the layer below it or the resolution of your document.To make it simple to see how your work affects the resolution of your material, the resolution is presented on each layer. This enables you to improve the performance when working on your assets as well as the quality of your materials.
