A preview video taking a look at some of the features already in the daily builds of 1.6 from December 2016.

New features include:

  • improved sampling of HDRIs with high contrast (e.g. embedded sun)
  • curves in the VFB, Triplanar mapping
  • soft edges for render regions
  • pan and zoom in the VFB during interactive rendering
  • render directly to non-panoramic stereo images
