Thanks for the replies. It was rendered on 17 machines, on 5 of which we worked during the day. The renders took from 20 to 120 minutes per frame. Some of the night scenes were really slow. The water is actually just a very simple plug-in : http://charles.hollemeersch.net/Projects/24/oceanwaves
We apologize for the slow download, the server is really overheating. The boss tried to upload it to vimeo but there was some problem there too.

The server is fixed. It should go with better speed now. Really sorry for the inconvinience.
Thank you very much for all the nice words.

you are curious about the amount of "copy/paste" educational procedure?

    Coool !!!!
Congratulations ! I know the amount of job and difficulty to make an animation.
The music is perfect, I like this sensation of calmness.
In my oppinion you abuse a little bit with de DOF, too many scenes with it. And sometimes looks good but others is a little bit strange. It seems more bokeh effect instead DOF.
    5 Stars !!!

    Nice!

Very nice animation, Vray rocks! I am a movie cinematographer and i can tell you...the change of DOF is too fast, but very very very nice work! Amazing!

...also nice...the italian soundtrack!! P.S.:I'm italian!!
