I'll tell you what, I probably learned more about Blender in that 2 minutes and 30 seconds than I do in some tutorials that go on for over an hour. I was trying to work out how to get seeds arranged around a strawberry and never did find a practical solution, but this work flow would be perfect for that, along with a lot of other things as you mentioned. Thanks very much!
