Lighting Scenes in Unity 2020

Realistic Lighting in Unity 2020/2019.4 with HDRP (High Definition Render Pipeline).

Sykoo shows how he lights scenes in Unity for environment designs, environment art, and level design.

Unity introduced HDRP rendering in 2018 along with Lightweight Render Pipeline (now called Universal Render Pipeline). HDRP targets high-end hardware. You are able to achieve realistic graphics in demanding scenarios. HDRP uses Compute Shader technology and takes advantage of GPU hardware.

HDRP is used to create high-fidelity games, automotive demos, architectural applications, and anything that prioritizes graphics quality. HDRP uses physically based Lighting and Materials, and supports both Forward and Deferred rendering paths.
