The word "Azulk’an" is composed of two terms: "azul," which is a word in Spanish and in the project refers to water, and "k’an," which in Mayan means golden or yellow. Combined, these words evoke the color green, a symbol of the nature surrounding the project. This contemporary bathroom uniquely blends the rich cultural heritage of the Mayans with the mystique of the City of Gold, creating a space of luxury and serenity in the midst of a lush tropical environment. Located in a jungle-like region once inhabited by the Mayans, the bathroom's design seeks to capture the essence of this ancient civilization while incorporating modern and golden elements that evoke the legendary golden city.
