The Compact Karst House is located in south-west Slovenia, a region where the predominant traditional material is stone. This stone house is designed by Ljubljana studio Dekleva Gregorič Arhitekti. The explicit use of stone material in collaboration with precise wood detailing in interior space, plays a very important role in the overall impact of the house. http://www.archdaily.com/582888/comp...oric-arhitekti With this house, we took the challenge to understand the traditional concepts of building, the logic of stone structuring, and tried to interpreted this understanding in beautiful CGI picture collection.
