Kristianstad School

Newly planned project for school in Kristianstad, Sweden, propose vast open public space along the local canal. It's interesting fact, that Sweden's lowest point, below mean sea level, is located in this area. That's why the city had huge problems with flooding in the past. Today, with reinforcement of levees and protected swamp areas, this area along the water is starting to be more interesting for local development. With the exterior image, we tried to emphasize this serenity between a man and water.
