Home. Office. Gym. Jail.

In my own 2020 I had a better chance to get to know my apartment than ever before (or hopefully after). The four words I gave as a title describe it from every aspect (as well as the sitting eye height of the camera). It is my home with photos of past summers, a teddy bear I got as a gift from my friends we traveled every year together, or the old dry bouquet of lavender reminding with its scent that there will still be lavender season once. Little did I know last year how useful it turns out that I purchased a workstation for home as since the end of March this year, my home also turned into my office with the (fake and not super comfy Eiffel chair. The best investment this year so far is the kettlebell I bought back in March when Italy started to shut down gyms. I wish I'd see the future for other investments like this, I'd be rich already :D. This 20 kg friend of mine has helped to stay in shape and sane pretty much! The metal grid outside of the windows has the function to protect me from being robbed. Having said that it feels now more like they are my jail bars, especially when going through the joys of being in quarantine for some days/weeks. I enjoyed modeling, texturing, and creating this image while having closer looks at my environment. Sometimes questions came up like "who caused that scratch on the door" or "how much do you need to drink to paint the old door handle like that when it shouldn't be painted". All in all however much I enjoyed working on this personal project, I hope I'll be home less in the coming year :).
