The deer

2020 was a very special year. It was espcially strange during the lockdown, when it felt like time stood still. It was a very hard time for some people, a happy one for others. For sure, human activities have been forced to slow down, almost stop, for a while. This image was inspired by events that took place close to where I live during this period. When everything was closed, and the calm was absolute in the streets, wild animals like deers and fawns were seen wandering in the city. With this render, my intention was to recreate this poetic moment, the unexpected encouter between nature and civilisation.I wanted to capture it before it was gone. For me, it represent what I feel about this year 2020: a very conflicting time, probably disaster for a lot of us, but with the possibility to find beauty in such precious moments. software used: 3ds max+ corona, Photoshop, Lightroom.
