Introducing Amazon Lumberyard - a free AAA game engine deeply integrated with AWS and Twitch – with full source. 

With Lumberyard, you get a growing set of tools to help create the highest quality games, engage massive communities of fans, and connect to the vast compute and storage of the cloud. 

 

Amazon Lumberyard is a free, cross-platform, 3D game engine for you to create games, connect games to the vast compute and storage of the AWS Cloud, and engage fans on Twitch.

The visuals technology of Lumberyard is based upon CryEngine, which lets you to create physically based shaders, dynamic global illumination, a particle effects editor, vegetation tools, real-time dynamic water caustics, volumetric fog, and filmic features such as color grading, motion blur, depth of field, HDR lens flares, and more.
