Game of Thrones: The Loot Train Attack

Press release 2017-08-09 08:19 article  > VFX

The epic battle that took place in episode 4 was full of fire.

The Game of Thrones cast and crew give an inside look on filming the loot train attack in season 7.

If you wondered why the fire looked so real in this great battle scene, well, because it was real. CG dragon is one of not so many computer generated graphics. The most of fire effects were recorded on greenscreen - with real fire and stuntsmen. We are under big impression that nobody got hurt during filming this episode. The final effect is amazing and photorealistic.
