    thank you guys.
here is another material test. this time with SSS.
to be honest... i love the result.
you just have to imagine this texture on a nicely done model.

sss means, as you said, Sub-Surface Scattering. It is a very complex phenomenon in nature. If an object is translucent, the light gets in the material and bounce inside the object and makes the internal structure of the object visible. For example.. in this case, if you examine a leaf of the flower, you dont see so many details on the surface of the leaf but if you hold the leaf to a light source you will notice the vains and internal structures of it, this is because the material is translucent and the light can enter in and bounce internally.

There are some fake ways to do this in Max by default rendering engine... but those are so limited, but with Vray and some other rendering engines you can have some nice results. it is painfully slow still. if you want some good quality SSS

    okay guys.. here it is...
first i want to apologize, that i really couldnt render with displacement.
i am not sure if it is a bug in Vray but, my machine was crashing after 7 hours of waiting and it is really so sad for me not to show you the incredible amount of details that displacement is giving to the render.
I will try to render with displacement after the competition, maybe it is because of my hardware (512 meg memory, waiting to upgrade ). But i think even without the displacement, the sss and rest of the stuff (modeling and composition) still making my day.
Here it is, and the wireframe.

Thanks for your nice comments... lets see what everybody thinks. Good luck to all competitors.
