First Place Competition Entry: www.designconnected.com @ through-the-mirror

hi guys. These are a few shots & renders for my winning submission for designconnected competition "through-the-mirror" held sometime late last year. kinda swaying away a little bit from architectural stuff i am doing on a daily basis. "the collector" basically depicts current issues on displacements, refugees, war, segregation, etc.) with poignant idea of saving all the souls (depicted as "furnitures") in the world after the turmoil. few furniture models used were from design connected/ cg connected website itself, evermotion's for some of the ruins and others models were my own custom made. modelling done in 3D Max, Zbrush & rendered in Corona Renderer. the visuals are pretty much inspired by ian mcque , jason freeny, kaws & neil krug . my prayers to all the displaced people in the world due to the current/past war. p.s. shout out to plamen from Designconnected! & the guys at SoA Academy!
