Al Sayegh Villa ( Kuwait ) Architectural Design

Hello Guys, Posting after long time. A Small Brief :- The Villa is designed as a reflection of the typical Kuwaiti Living style. The forms are pure geometrical forms that overlaps and intersects to create double volume interiors that maximize light and maximize the experience. The villa is located within congested neighbourhood, though it was crucial to respect the privacy of the client and give a special attention to glazing elements, its treatment and orientation. The Front Elevation is partially glazed that enclose the split level Master bedroom. The bedroom is protected by double height laser cut stainless steel masharibiya, that can be openable. The Façade material is made out of creamy travertine and Matrix black stone, these materials have colours that are forgiving and can age nicely within the local environment. As to lighting, we believe that building’s materials, shape and form should be the main inspiration to create the designed mood and feel, the bedroom walls were darkened so that the sun rays protruding through the mashrabiya create dramatic scenery. The overall design was kept elegantly simple and fully respected the end user vision and feel. At signature design, each project has its own character and identity.
