Railway to Heaven

Hi, My name is Dogukan Dalgic and i'm an interior designer/visualization artist from Istanbul,Turkey. My perfect getaway is about a long distance rail travel with my dog. I love to travel and in my vacations i never stay in one place. It helps me getaway from all the exhaustion and stress of everyday life. But for this project i imagined my wife instead of me. For this purpose i especially took her pictures and put her in the composition. For this project I researched many train services but mostly inspired by orient express. The Orient Express was a showcase of luxury and comfort at a time and I tried to replicate that feel. In the composition my wife and dog are having a breakfast in the compartment and pampering themselves while enjoying a great view. I started the project by modeling the compartment by looking at various drawings,then placed the windows and the seats. After the composition is finished i modeled the mountains and the bridge. After scattering the trees i started lighting. I used a hdr environment and a corona sun for the main lighting. Then added the sconces. After that i started putting some human and dog models to test the shadows etc and ofcourse the breakfast table. Many effects like vignette or color grading is done in corona. I did some color correction to the dog and the woman in photoshop. Programs : 3dsmax, corona renderer, zbrush, marvelous designer, photoshop.
