My day in the city.

This project is very personal for me. I work from home and that can be quite isolating at times. Most of my (visual) social interactions happen on my a way to the gym or when i go to the grocery store and frankly-i don't mind. I like observing things from the shadows. This years challenge theme gave me the perfect opportunity to express it and also gave motivation to create something besides work projects. I love how the main road in front of my house separates two different worlds, like a portal in a way. One side is quiet, dark, peaceful and comfortable whilst other side-busy, bright and dynamic. I have found it to be in perfect balance for myself. This exact spot is where i stand about thirty times a day to gather my thoughts during stressful moments and drink my late night coffee, wondering where all those people and cars are rushing and how after rain, so many colors blend together on wet asphalt and reflect off the puddles. Also this weather is what our "white" christmas and winter looks like most of the time here in Estonia. Software used: 3ds Max, Vray, Photoshop. Thank you and good luck to all participants.
