Getaway back To The 80s

The perfect getaway for me is to sit down with my son and play old video games with him. And this is what I wanted to capture in this image. Me and him, sitting down and play the old Nintendo games together. We actually do that from time to time, so I thought it would be fun to create this image to capture that moment we have together. The image is created in 3ds Max, and post is done in Photoshop CC. All models is created by me, except the TV witch is bought from 3dSky (by the user Hemchandra). But I have modified it a bit from the original, since I didn't like the shape of the actual screen. The photos of me and my son sitting on the floor is taken with my Canon camera and then an alpha-mask is created in Photoshop. The images is then added to simple planes in 3ds max. Some Shadow objects was then created to cast some nice shadows around the floor. Everything was then rendered using Vray and then brought in to Photoshop for some post-process. This is my first attempt to create an image for a competition like this, although I have worked with 3D for a couple of years now. So this is entirely done in my spare time. Hope you like it.
