Hello, guys. I've been working with Unreal Engine 4 in the archviz area for a while. For my last couple of projects, I created a residential area based on satellite info of a real location to use as background environment. I'm also using that as a "sandbox" to develop my UE4 skills, learning new tools, developing techniques, improving visuals, etc. For the last iteration of that, I tried to reproduce an abandoned place to learn a bit about UE4 Decal Actors and improve my vegetation. So I'm sharing some images of that scene here. C&C are most welcome :) 160921 160922 160923 160924 160925 160926 160927 Some specific info about the project: - I've made the assets in 3D Studio and Speedtree - All the foliage has dynamic lighting (except the tree inside the building) - Lightbuild takes about 2 hours on "Production" mode (core i7 3770, 16gb RAM). - The screenshots were taken directly from the viewport, with 200% screen percentage mode (almost 4k). - I'm getting 40~60fps 1080p and 15~30fps 4k (gtx 980ti) - The level has 5 square kilometers. The detailed region is concentrated in the middle (500 square meters). This is a screenshot of the whole scene zoomed out. The red circle indicates the region showed in the images above. 160928
