Lucid is a simple to use, yet powerful, multi-physics plugin for 3dsmax capable of simulating fluids, cloth, rigids, and soft bodies. It is currently in beta testing stage.

To make Lucid more powerful and versatile as a production tool developers added an option to save recorded animation in external files as well as embed it within the scene. Use our own cache format or save and load particle data in Thinkbox prt format for Krakatoa and Frost interop. Finally, learn how to leave lasting dents and bumps in your simulated rigid body geometry. All in this short video tutorial.
