VFX and 3DS Max master Allan McKay has created over 100 PFlow presets that ship with Max.

The PFlow setups range from elemental effects for air, earth, fire, water and various logo effects.

Download all the MAX files and MP4 versions of them rendered out here:

These are just starting points and can be used for reverse-engineer-learning as well as modified for use in any comppercial work.
