Evermotion Challenge 2023 Winners Announced!

Evermotion 2023-12-27 11:17 article  > All

See the best works submitted to Evermotion Challenge 2023!

We are happy to announce the results of Evermotion Challenge 2023! BIG THANK YOU for all participants, our sponsors and jury and HUGE CONGRATULATIONS for winners!

1st Place: The Nest by _Ianis

Vasilis Koutlis: A high-quality short animation that tried to suddenly answer the obvious topic of the contest, but mixed with some sci-fi flying details in a possible future world where everything is possible in a short distance. Even if it's short it's enjoyable!

Michal Horba: This idea is mind blowing and very good executed. Everything there  fits together nicely. I love how you mixed the village/city subject together. And I love the bird at the end! :)

Michal Górski: Animation that captivates attention, impossible to pass by nonchalantly. The stark contrast between the tranquil domestic courtyard and the urban, futuristic, pulsating landscape is truly mesmerizing. Attention to detail, vibrant greenery, great camera work, lighting, colors – excellence. Simply put, hats off to an outstanding piece of work.

2nd Place: New York in Motion by Damir_TB

Vasilis Koutlis: Thinking like a photographer, this is one of the projects I liked most. It harmonically combines a "moody" Archviz but also a street 3d photography style. Lovely high contrast is there, framed by nice, meaningful points of view. Advanced materials helped this foggy wet look to become convincing. Congratulations!

Michal Horba: This is a work of a very high standard. As mentioned here - a very photographic approach with excellent CGI skills in materials and lighting produces an absolutely stunning result. Congratulations on your talent.I like the rainy atmosphere and the way you captured a moment from the life of a big city.

Michal Górski: Exemplary urban archviz. The atmosphere, tight composition, meticulous attention to detail, material usage, lighting – all combine to make it remarkably easy to mistake your work for actual, bustling city-life photographs. Exceptional quality, congratulations!

3rd Place: Datastream District by Denis D

Vasilis Koutlis: A "back-to-the-future" feeling in the foreground and a typical modern town in the background are painted by an amazing and full of colors color palette. Balanced high contrast with great texturing and very good materials. An image that is full of enjoyable details. Well done!

Michal Horba: Congratulations on your talent! Your work is very reminiscent of scenes from sci-fi classics such as Blade Runner. I like the colors that play the main role here and make it impossible to remain indifferent to your work.

Michal Górski: A festival of colors, intense pulsating lights, and shadows where the artist boldly merges futuristic aesthetics with vibrant hues. This work stands out not only for its exceptionally high level of craftsmanship but also for its ability to convey emotions through its color palette, making it incredibly visually captivating. Congratulations.

1st Award: Underground by Capellan

Vasilis Koutlis: A classical example of street 3d photography with very good quality and emotional results mainly due to its atmosphere. A wandering young boy who is probably wondering: "What am I doing here when my nature is to live close to my mother nature?" As a storytelling could be the winning image but it definitely deserves one of the top three places. Thanks for sharing!

Michal Horba: This is my favorite! I really like the way your work tells the story of this boy and gives a lot to think about the place and situation he is in. I can see your keen eye for photography and a very cinematic approach. Way to go!

2nd Award: Contrasts by Azzurra Ferraris

Michal Horba: A very nice combination of topics and the title of the work. Sometimes, with modest means, you can achieve a nice effect; classic beauty brought out by lighting and composition. Congratulations!

Michal Górski: The creative utilization of two specified 3D models outlined in the competition guidelines, which almost entirely occupy the composition, demonstrates the author's creativity and open-mindedness towards new ideas. The superbly 'photographic' eye and execution of the competition theme are truly commendable.

3rd Award: Beyond Borders by santievermo

Michal Horba: This picture, apart from being simply beautiful, brings back nice memories and makes me miss summer and holidays. Apart from that, the composition is very good, it is technically correct and I was impressed by your handwritten sketch - a little wonder. Congratulations!

This year your works were judged by:
