AN is a node based visual scripting system designed for motion graphics in Blender. You can use it to animate objects parameters - from trivial like position, rotation and scale to vertices, faces, materials, lighting, etc. Animation nodes let you create relations between object parameters, time and mathematic funtions. You can also create audio visualizations. Some nodes configurations can be baked in regular keyframes, which will let you to export your animation to other software for rendering.
