Behind the Scenes of a stunning work by Nina Marie.

Nina Marie is an artist based in New York City who specializes in Photo Compositing, CGI, Photography & Web Design.

My Dad’s dream ever since I could remember has been to build a large greenhouse for gardening.  However it is a very expensive, and we haven't been able to do that for him yet, so in CGI I merged my Dad and I’s love for plants and gardening, and placed a virtual greenhouse in a CGI forest of my childhood.

I modeled the greenhouse from scratch, found multiple 3D plant models online, re-textured them for Octane, lit and rendered the scene.  Then I photographed & retouched myself into these renders. This is my behind-the-scenes video explaining how I did it.

SketchUp's Real-Time Rendering Moment: Lumion View, AI Render, and the End of the Export Workflow

SketchUp 2025–2026 has added native PBR materials, AI image generation, and real-time rendering plugins like Lumion View, letting archviz artists produce photorealistic images without leaving the viewport. This collapses the traditional design-to-render pipeline.
