On week Project One Image, One Day Envisioned as a 1:1 scale simulation for NASA in the frozen plains of Alaska, Hexa-Polaris is an evolutionary and modular architectural concept dedicated to creating hydroponic farms in extreme conditions. The project relies on a honeycomb assembly system of modules, covered by an active nanoparticle double membrane that serves as both a thermal shield and an energy source by capturing the faint polar light. Balancing technological precision and visual poetry, Hexa-Polaris explores the boundaries of habitability, staging the duality between the brutality of a hostile environment and the fragility of the life that architecture strives to protect.
