Muqarnas Way

Editors' choice award

Muqarnas Way “Muqarna”, the Arabic word for “Stalactite”. Also known as “Mocárabe”. This architectural feature was taken to its ultimate expression at The Alhambra in Granada, Spain. This fantasy space is inspired by the Arches and Ceilings at The Alhambra. The stone screen from the Sidi Saiyyed mosque in Ahemdabad, Gujrat in India also features here as a relief and a screen.
