171251 Hi all, For this entry, i decided to create some kind of semi interior garden, visually clean and naturally lit,using nice surface materials,with a nicely balanced mix of hard surfaces and materials ,stylish foliage,easy on the eyes. The initial thought is to keep the visual style and shape language very clean with abstract shapes that then need to go hand in hand with a foliage style and foliage design that fits the overall scene. I gathered a lot of reference,of architectural styles and patterns that appeal to me, a selection of the references I've gathered in the attached mood board to give you a rough idea of what I'm after. I started blocking out some simple shapes and volumes in the scene,I've set up multiple cameras for the establishing shots,and started meshing out some abstract patterns to see if and where they would fit in the scene. None of it is final off course, its very early days, I'm just experimenting with ideas at this time. I do most of my initial scene blockout rendering in Keyshot, just because its fast,and it gives me the opportunity to experiment with ideas at this point. The eventual scene will be rendered and lit in V-Ray, Physical cameras, the Modeling is going to be done in Maya, as well as Fusion. 171250 Currently working on some furniture ideas,in order to be able to plan the scene out a bit more,before diving into mesh detail and foliage after.
