Hi All! The first thing that comes to mind when we hear the word "LOFT" is an image of an interior with high ceilings and industrial-style house converted into a home that was not originally intended for this. We almost always unjustly forget about the outer skin. What if historically significant architects each worked on this project and we placed everything in the same scene. ? A Tribute from a LOFT's point of view. Immediately what comes to mind are those photomontages of Dionisio Gonzalez run over scenes of Brazilian favelas, impossible images with an alarming rate. 155843 155844 Could we show chaos and calm in the same scene? We considered this and got to work. The first task was sketching the composition and to define a module to replicate; 155852 a module that would be put in the hands of the style of each one of the architects who we had just chosen to be modelled. Names like Alvaro Siza, Herzog & Meuron, Norman Foster, Tadao Ando, Toyo Ito .... They were some of the architects whose works we tried to recreate. 155845 155847 155848 155849 155851 Finally the decision of where to place the set. Choosing a cityscape seemed a good choice to bring some credibility to the proposal, so we opted for a winter scene with bare trees, snow and a lake that would enhance the effect of the lights in its reflections. A commercial ground floor with people could bring the final touch of dynamism and scale. 155854 Here is the process, 155855 155856 http://i.imgur.com/YJ7OM70.gif And here is the end result, we hope you enjoy it and we promise that if we end up in a good place we'll pass across a detailed tutorial ;) 155859 EVERMOTION Challenge 2015 Final Entry WeMakeRenders
