Whola lotta loft - Λoft

Hey guys! Happy New Year. So i have spend my almost zero time thinking about an idea i had back in Xmas time. Im a big fan of Kubrick's center aesthetic, so i wanted to try and make something out of it. I googled for some time to find out my ''elements''. I wanted to avoid the classic pillars/industrial style/exposed brick idea of a loft we all have. I loved arced spaces. I also liked the idea of having a main central focus piece too.Below, some arced spaces i liked and the idea of the central focus object. 150311 Loving sci-fi design with a minimal touch, my basic sketch i came up, is a continuous arced space with a frame-type continuous element. My main focus element, to bring the whole residential mood to it, would have to be something contrasty and opposite of the whole design. So i picked the famous chesterfield armchair. But the rest, simple and solid. I do want to avoid the realistic feeling and place it more to the cinematographic feeling. 150312 And to sum up from my 2 days work, im posting a first render preview of the scene as it is now. It wont change much probably, but you get the idea. 150313 So, thats for now. I will try to push myself to make it. So see you around! Thomas
