Week0-Nov17_Plan/Introduction/Think

This is a first post. Welcome :D 146060 //Skip this section// Introduction: Hello Evermotion Community, This is my first competition and first post and first forum... and many firsts to come. I don't know what I am doing, so I guess I will just do it. Let me first start by saying I am super, super, super lazy. I work full time at a rendering firm and by the time I get home, I'm quite tired. But rendering is really fun so I think pacing myself will be the key to completing this challenge! For me, starting is the easiest part. Finishing is the hardest. Startingis where you layout your goals and becomes the first step into a journey. It is so easy to quit, especially in the early stages. As exciting as it is, for me, it is also the most daunting thing, like looking up a long flight of stairs. You think to yourself, "How the hell am I going to do this?" I decided to start a schedule to maybe make me feel better, but perhaps it may not. Most likely the schedule will change. I figured if I posted the schedule, you can keep me accountable to actually do it. Feel free to use CAPS to yell at me through the thread if I am late at posting/more-likely-not-working. My ultiminte goal is to make this a learning experience. Thanks for reading! tl;dr im lazy and rely on your conscious to keep me working. //Schedule// Will try to work throughout the week, biggest push saturday, post on sunday: Week0-Nov17_Plan/Introduction/Think Week1-Nov22_Pick Inspiration/Sketches Week2-Nov29_Basic Interior/Exterior Space (American Thanksgiving btw) Week3-Dec6_ModelArchitecture Week4-Dec13_ModelArchitecture_Materials Week5-Dec20_FurnModel(3) Week6-Dec27_FurnModel(3) (Christmas) Week7-Jan3_FurnModel(3) Week8-Jan10_FurnModel(3) Week9-Jan16_Rendering/Lighting Week10-Jan24_Photoshop Week11-Jan25_Wrap-up/Done Quite honestly, modeling is not my forte' but it doesnt hurt to try and maybe I could get some tips from you guys :) This schedule is preobably not going to go as planned. I am SO bad at planning and never goes according to plan. I am VERY worried about Dec20 to Jan10 as it is such a huge amount of time devoted to modeling furn, and hope I will not fall off the ball. My goal is to model ~3 Furn a week. Let's see how it goes Feel free to join me :) j
