VRayDisplacementMod

so, i am doing a wall, using vray displacement mod, in the map slot i have a composite texture using some procedural maps, and i am having a huge problem with this, as even for the test renders on low res, max eats all of my ram and returns the "unloading geometry" message that totally kills the render time. I'm working on a laptop with 8gb of ram, have set my dynamic memory to 7GB's and havent changed anything about the settings of the VRay Displacement mod, i'm using 3d mapping. Can anyone break down how that mod is making use of the memory, what can i tinker to optimise it and actually get a render out of my scene in HD ? i've added an attachment of my last test render, i got the unloading geometry message at that point end ended the render so it's not complete, i'll add more information about the scene, maps and materials if needed, but i really need to get it working :/
