summer in the city — surreality

Concepting 128904 About World The concept was based on the amazing work of the spanish artist Salvador Dali and how his way of seeing things differently lead him to create melting worlds. About Summer Last summers have been scalding, it´s almost if the heat had the power to melt anything. Astounded and completely driven by the idea of melting worlds and hot summers I started wondering for solutions in the mixing of reality and fantasy. The result was this beautiful image that suggests living in such surreality. For me, it’s the best quality/speed trade-off. Post Processing 128918 Softwares 3ds Max V-Ray Forest Pack Photoshop Aditional Resources Models Most of the models in the image were made by me. But I’ve downloaded some free models from Turbosquid and Evermotion. Kitchen accessories by EVERMOTION - AM134_01 Books via Ronen Bekerman - Free Venice Loft’s Dresser by Patric Verstraete Fish by YimitRG Textures I have also downloaded some free textures and modified them inside Photoshop. For these, I generally use cgtextures images, some free HDRI by VizPeople, and of course, the ones that come with Evermotion free models. Coda I never participate in competitions but this one is very special to me. I’m a big fan of Evermotion works, it’s a great inspiration in my everyday life, and having the possibility to have my work seen by these great artists it’s an unmissable opportunity. So, thank you guys for your time. Let’s keep pushing on and working harder everyday to feed people’s imagination.
